Biotechnologies to Be Developed in IAU

The acting president of Islamic Azad University has stated that biotechnologies will be developed in the university in order to create Knowledge-based employment.

According to an ISCA report, modern biotechnology provides breakthrough products and technologies to combat debilitating and rare diseases, reduce the environmental footprint, feed the hungry, use less and cleaner energy, and have safer, cleaner and more efficient industrial manufacturing processes.

In the 14th meeting of IAU deputies of science and education in Tabriz, Dr. Tehranchi explained that running 40 advanced and proficient centers in Islamic Azad University has been placed on the agenda in order to implement and manage knowledge-based economy settings.

Dr. Tehranchi explained that fundamental steps must be taken in applying the capacities of students’ thesis in solving the country’s problems.

He noted that the evolution paths of Western’s patterns will not be our lifesaving sollution therefore, IAU’s academic orientation must be developed in a spiritual framework to reach to the desirable evolution.
