IAU to Hold Resistance Front Student Sport Games

Islamic Azad University will host the first round of student sport competitions of resistance front countries in January, 2019.

According to an ISCA report, the 2nd consulting meeting for student sport competitions of resistance front countries has been held with the presence of PE deputy of Quds Force, commander-in-chief Hakim Javadi, head of IAU Department of Physical Education and Sports, Dr. Kamal Javanmard and some officials in IAU Physical Education and Sport Administration.

Students from Yemen, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq have the opportunity to join the teams in the competition.

Islamic Azad University is planning to establish a permanent secretariat for the tournament in Tehran and hold annual competitions, Said Dr. Javanmard in an interview with IRNA's correspondent.

This competition will be held in the men section in the fields of futsal, shooting, karate and taekwondo and for women in taekwondo and shooting.
