Bojnord IAU Student Snatches Bronze in 2018 World Judo C’ships

A student of Bojnord Islamic Azad University has bagged valuable bronze medal for Iran in -73kg category in 2018 World Judo Championships, from 20 to 27 September 2018 at National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan.

According to an ISCCA report, Mohammad Mohammadi Barimanlou defeated the rivals from North Korea and Kyrgyzstan in -73 kg of men and bagged valuable bronze medal in this competition.

The adult judo championship campaign started on Thursday with 758 Judo athletes from 125 countries in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Barimanlou recently won the Asian bronze medal in Jakarta by defeating Tomi Makias, the third in World from Sweden, and then by defeating Tetya Casgi from Moldova reached quarterfinals.
