Virtual University of Medical Sciences Joins CINVU

The Virtual University of Medical Sciences has joined the Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU).

According to an ISCA report, the 1st General Assembly of the Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities was held on Tehran’s Payam-e Noor University with the present of representatives from Iran, Albania, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Morocco, Egypt, Iraq, Turkey and Senegal on September 24, 2018.

During the meeting, qualified universities with necessary requirements applied for receiving membership, which the request of seven universities were accepted. Virtual University of Medical Sciences could join this network as well.

Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) aims to support the educational and research networks based on ICT technology and knowledge engineering, promoting joint venture and collaboration culture and expedition of cooperation and sympathy among entrepreneurs and Muslim scientists, scholars, students and researches of Islamic countries through laying the required groundwork.

Virtual University of Medical Sciences that its statute has been developed after analyzing the virtual universities in the world has two main missions. One is running and developing special virtual education majors such as eLearning in Medical Sciences, Medical Ethics in Cyberspace, eHealth and etc.

Another is helping to perform virtual education science in universities of medical education and developing necessary infrastructures and performing standard electronic contents to all the universities in the country.
