M.A. architecture student of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research branch, has designed Caspian Sea Museum with an emphasis on the context oriented architecture.

According to an ISCA report, Ali Zekavat stated that due to the tourism potential of the Caspian Sea coast in the province of Guilan, running coastal cultural and recreational complex can be an effective solution for tourist attraction.

Zekavat explained that Caspian Sea Museum is a cultural and recreational complex, aims at displaying evidences left by human and their environment, protecting their collections and creating connection between these works.

He noted that most of the large cities have been located at the beaches but unfortunately, many of them have been changed into a contaminated space, so the region can be transformed into an active, dynamic and tourist area through running such complexes.

Led by Azadeh Shahcheraghi, the research was carried out, as a master of architecture thesis, by Ali Zekavat, in Science and Research Islamic Azad University.
