Mianeh IAU Student Snatches Gold in IFBB Men's World Bodybuilding C’ships

A student of Mianeh Islamic Azad University has won a gold medal at the International Federation of Fitness and Bodybuilding World Bodybuilding Championships at the Benidorm Palace in the Spanish seaside resort.

According to an ISCA report, Farshad Valipour won the men's classic bodybuilding +180cm category, with Ali Mojtahedi securing silver and Spain's Jonatan Moreno getting bronze.

There were nine categories in the men's bodybuilding event, which started from up-to and including 65 kilograms and then progressing on to the 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg, 95kg, 100kg and the over-100kg categories.

In the men's classic bodybuilding event there were five categories, where athletes were judged up-to and including 168 centimeters, 171cm, 175cm, 180cm and over-180cm.

The men's classic bodybuilding event had two categories, up-to and including 175cm and over-175cm.

The 2018 IFBB Men´s World Amateur Bodybuilding Championships & 13th World Classic Bodybuilding Championships that were held in Benidorm (Alicante, Spain), November 7th to 12th.
