Asian Countries Will be Pioneer in Higher Education Till 2020

The president of Islamic Azad University has stated that due to the effective development in science and technology, Asian countries will be pioneer in world higher education in the year 2020.

In the opening ceremony of ASAIHL Conference 2018, held in Qazvin IAU, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi mentioned Imam Ali (a.s) saying, which is, “ Science is power, someone who gains it, will be strong and those who didn’t, would be overcome,” and stated that science and applying that plays significant role in today’s world, ISCA reports.

The chairman of ASAIHL Conference 2018 stated that in a document released by National Science Foundation in 2016, it is mentioned that world has been faced to the huge dramatic evolution in geography of science, research, education, and even commerce so this created the multipolar science world.

The member of Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution explained that Asian countries are shining in the science and technology, “The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) was founded 60 years ago with the membership of not developed countries in the field of science but nowadays, its members are science pioneers.”

Dr. Tehranchi noted that not only in higher education, but also doing researches have been developed in Asian countries. As he said, Iran ranks second in the field of engineering science and based on the Global Innovation Index report, Iran is among notable countries in science production.

He declared that Asian countries will be pioneers in higher education. In researches, Iran has been pioneer in growth of scientific production. South Korea, India and China also have developed in producing science which shows that Asian countries taken serious steps toward scientific researches.
