"Azad Payesh Plan" to Play an Influential Role in Country’s Economy and Industry

The head of Qazvin Islamic Azad University has stated that "Azad Payesh Plan" can play a significant role in developing the country’s economy and industry at the time of sanctions.

According to an ISCA report, "Azad Payesh Plan", referring to an Effective Unified Research Network, that aims at creating an integrated educational system as well as positive developments in the country’s scientific and research structure.

In his interview with ISCA News Agency, Dr. Morteza Mousakhani explained that "Azad Payesh Plan" has been run in line with research orientation, which mostly pays a significant attention to research-centered activities.

He said that universities must focus on research activities and designing educational research strategies in order to apply practical studies and scientific investigation and solve the country’s challenges and issues.

“The most important note is that we can use all the potential of IAU, especially faculty members, elites and researchers in various branches in a form of an integrated network. In fact, we will be able to take advantages of researchers’ abilities, ideas and expertise all across the country,” he added.

Dr. Mousakhani noted that “Azad Payesh Plan" monitors the country’s research capacities, then classifies them. It also provides necessary information about different research projects for university branches in order to provide a suitable information for enthusiasts to cooperate in their favorite projects.

Preventing research misconduct, playing a significant role in developing the country’s economy and industry at the time of sanctions, promoting IAU professors' scientific level and being innovative and unique in the world, are some features of Payesh Plan which can help IAU to achieve its 1404 outlook, (Iran’s 1404 (March 2025-March 2026) Outlook Plan) that is IAU will be the students' first choice university until the year 1404.
