IAU Welcoming the Presence of Seminary Professors

The president of Islamic Azad University, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi met with director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi.

According to an ANA report, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi stated that IAU is welcoming seminary professors to teach humanities in the university.

The IAU president presented a report about the process of the university activities and programs and stated that in the format of “Azad Payesh Plan”, 40 national challenges have been codified so far which 9 of them were uploaded in this system.

Dr. Tehranchi mentioned the IAU’s great capacity in humanities in different educational levels and said based on this significant capacity we have planned for its development. On the other hand, students will be able to choose their supervisor for their thesis in this system in near future.

He emphasized on the presence of seminary professors in teaching humanities, “almost 3900 applicants have registered in the first phase of IAU faculty member’s admission. We emphasize on applying seminary professors in teaching Islamic sciences.”

“We believe that through Islamic Azad University, we can transform higher education in the country so continuous relations with seminaries can help us to achieve to this goals,” he finally said.
