IAU to Run 1st Graduate School in "Decade of Fajr"

The president of Islamic Azad University has announced on running the first Graduate School of Law during the Fajr Decade.

According to IAU public relations, in his trip to Gilan province to meet with officials and faculty members of Gilan province IAU, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi stated that it is a great honor for him to have the opportunity of serving people, who are sympathetic to the Islamic system.

Dr. Tehranchi emphasized on presenting desirable service to the students and noted that the university must consider suitable programs based on the each place’s special ecosystem. As he said, due to the university’s great capacities and potentials, we plan an achievement which is the university’s 1404 outlook, (Iran’s 1404 (March 2025-March 2026) Outlook Plan) that is IAU will be the students' first choice university until the year 1404.

For over a century, graduate schools of Law have played a central role in the teaching and research of law and political science. Through their education and research programs, the graduate schools are committed to cultivating students’ knowledge, opinion, wisdom and logical thinking, and nurturing their intellectual autonomy.

The IAU president declared that regional intelligent development is IAU’s most important priority. Spoke of running first Graduate School of Law, Dr. Tehranchi declared that the educational model of launching these schools will be soon issued to the IAU branches.

In this regard, Dr. Tehranchi announced that the opening ceremony of the first Graduate School of Law will be held coincide with “Decade of Fajr”, a ten-day celebration of Ruhollah Khomeini's return to Iran in 1979. The annual celebration is held between 1 and 11 February.
