IAU Farhikhtegan Hospital Opened in Tehran

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution Farhikhtegan Hospital affiliated to Islamic Azad University has been opened in Tehran.

According to an ISCA report, IAU Farhikhtegan Hospital was opened with the presence of the head of IAU, board of trustees and directors, Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati, Minister of Health and Medical Education, Saeid Namaki, IAU president, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi and some other officials.

As a General Hospital, Farhikhtegan includes various departments such as advanced dialysis department, laboratories, radiology, operating room, ICU, NICU, oncology and emergency. The hospital is also equipped with Helicopter Pad to be used in emergencies in west of Tehran.

This well-equipped hospital is considered as a general hospital that does not specialize in the treatment of particular illnesses or patients, also aims to deliver the very best health care in a safe, compassionate environment.
