Kerman IAU Researchers Produce DNA Testing Kit

Researchers of Kerman Islamic Azad University have created and commercialized DNA Testing Kit in two forms, DNA Isolation Kits and Column Based Kits.

According to an ISCA report, researchers of a technology unit located in Kerman IAU, have succeeded to create DNA Testing Kit in two forms, DNA Isolation Kits and Column Based Kits.

The acting head of Kerman IAU technology unit, Mohammad Kazemi stated that researchers of Karmania Pars Gene technology unit made DNA Testing Kits which can be applied in research and clinical applications.

Kazemi explained that 21 kinds of products are being produced right now which some of them have been commercialized and released in the market.

DNA kits can find long-lost relatives, estimate your ethnic ancestry, or show where your ancestors came from tens of thousands of years ago.

He finally added that Karmania Pars Gene technology unit produced these kits in half-price in comparison with its foreign sample, also created employment for researchers of the university.
