Iran’s Leader Greatly Presents Roadmap for 2nd Phase of Revolution

A top foreign policy adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated that Ayatollah Khamenei greatly presented a roadmap for "the second phase of Islamic revolution".

According to an ISCA report, at the unveiling ceremony with the title of “Chelcheragh” for 40 honorable books in the field of revolutionary studies, Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati stated that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has considerably issued statement "The Second Phase of Islamic Revolution" on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the 1979 uprising that toppled the US-backed Pahlavi regime.

Dr. Velayati added that despite many problems Iranian people have endured during these years, Islamic Revolution still remains with power with the support of great Iranian nation. He also continued that each civilization, especially Islamic ones, requires books to be successful.

Speaking of the great scientific capacity of Iranian elites and professors, Dr. Velayati criticized academics’ attention toward applying translated books and declared that Iranian graduates are less aware of Islamic Humanities which are more scientific than west's subjects.

He said that if professors only eveluated based on article revealing in ISI journal, we could not be able to move forward in the era of translating modern Islamic civilization. He finally hoped for the university to take effective steps in compiling more books.

In "The Second Phase of Islamic Revolution", Ayatollah Khamenei said the Islamic Revolution guaranteed Iran’s security, stability, and territorial integrity, and stressed that Iran must not back down from its national and revolutionary values.

According to the statement, "among all the nations suffering from oppression, few make an effort to launch a revolution; and among those nations that have risen and launched a revolution, few have been witnessed to have pursued it to the end, or moved beyond merely changing the government and safeguarded their revolutionary values.”

The Leader said the responsibility for building a "great Islamic Iran" lies with the youth, who have to take it upon themselves and pull the country forward using their own experiences while keeping an eye on the experiences of the past.

"To take steady steps in the future, we need to develop a good knowledge of the past and learn from it. If this strategy is neglected, lies will replace the truth, and the future will be menaced by unknown threats," the Leader said.

The Leader said the Islamic Revolution guaranteed stability and security of the country and then helped the nation advance on many fronts by acting as the "engine" for progress.
