IAU Taekwondo Practitioners Shine in 9th Asian Taekwondo Clubs C’ships

Islamic Azad University taekwondo practitioners completely dominated the 9th edition of the Asian Taekwondo Clubs Championships, which was held on February 26-27 in Kish Island, Iran.

According to the WTM report, Iranian clubs collected all 7 gold medals in competition, with the Islamic Azad University Club reaching the top of the medal count after grabbing 5 gold, 2 silvers and 1 bronze, earning a total of 749 points.

Shahrdari Varamin Taekwondo Club finished in second place after collecting 3 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze, combining 450 points.

CAN Taekwondo Club, also from Iran, reached the third position with 4 silvers and 1 bronze, accumulating 238 points.

Police (Iraq), Albasrah (Iraq), Green (Pakistan), Challenging (Syria), Red (Pakistan), Majan and Eagles (Syria) clubs stood from the 4th to the 11th position of the ranking of the tournament.
