IAU to Launch 3 Graduate Schools in Mashhad

The president of Islamic Azad University has announced on launching graduate schools of Law, Capital Market and Islamic heritage in Mashhad.

According to an ISCA report, in his visit with Mashhad IAU students, Dr. Mahammad Mehdi Tehranchi stated that the matter of university—industry relations has been one of the students’ main concerns and he believed that this relations need to be reformed in higher education, so besides quality improvement, efficiency must be considered.

Dr. Tehranchi continued that in order to create links between university and industry, having knowledge is not sufficient, work-based learning and skill training must be provided as well for students, therefore, running graduate schools has been placed on the agenda.

“In order to promote IAU students’ skills, directorate of Technology and Innovation was run to cooperate with Young Researchers and Elite Club,” he emphasized and announced that, “according to the schedules, graduate schools of Law, Capital Market and Islamic heritage will be run in Mashhad in the first six months of 1398 (solar year).”

Dr. Tehranchi also noted that based on the organized schedule, scientific communities will be organized in the form of Young Researchers and Elite Club to seriously follow scientific activities.
