IAU Is Ready to Run a Branch in Kirkuk

The head of East Azerbaijan IAU has announced that IAU is ready to run a branch in Kirkuk, Iraq.

According to an ISCA report, in the meeting of joint Scientific, Research and Cultural Cooperation of Tabriz IAU and University of Kirkuk, Dr. Aziz Javanpour declared that as a comprehensive unit, almost 55 thousand students are studying in 35 units in the province.

Dr. Javanpour mentioned the effective role of universities in creating and developing international relations, and said that both countries, Iran and Iraq, have cultural, spiritual and historical commons, also the language, spoken in Kirkuk, is similar to Tabriz, therefore, expanding cooperation will lead to the both countries’ progress.

As he declared, Islamic Azad University is ready to run a branch in Kirkuk in order to complete, develop and improve projects of Iraq in the field of higher education, science and technology.
