Call for Entries: 2019 UNESCO Innovation Award Ceremony

An expert of UNESCO Chair on e-Learning and Teaching in Iran has announced that June 21 is the deadline for enthusiasts to submit and send their educational videos to participate in Innovation Award Ceremony.

According to an ISCA report, Samaneh Amir Nekouei stated that UNESCO Innovation Award Ceremony aims at following the policy of “everyone has the right to education”. As she said, applicants, at any age and educational level, can send their educational videos about “Source Separation of Domestic Waste” to the secretariat until June 21st.

UNESCO Chair on e-Learning and Teaching is located in Mehralborz Institute of Higher Education (MIHE), that was established in 2003 for graduate studies, with the aim of training professional and high quality human resources and enhancing education and research based on information and communication technology.

MIHE delivered its educational services in state-of-the-art e-learning methods for Master of Science programs. The institute’s educational programs are based on the localized international standards and the experiences of pioneer accredited electronic universities of the world, which have been put into effect regarding the capacities, capabilities, and needs of the country.

E-learning is still in embryonic form in Iran, and consequently, with respect to the available infrastructures, precise observance of the favorable international standards might be an arduous and costly task. However, all of the involved people, from the founders to the experts and staff, try their bests to offer the highest quality, and provide sufficient educational and technical facilities.

Mehralborz Institute of Higher Education is sincerely respecting all of the professors, experts, and students, and inviting them to help the development of high quality, sustainable e-learning in the country’s higher education system, as well as the introduction of such electronic university, distinguished in the country, and well-known in the region.
