Embed Video in PowerPoint Slides to Make a Big Impression

Monday, May 6, 2019 - 12:13

LiveSlides allows you to embed a fully functional browser into a PowerPoint slide, letting you browse the web during your presentations without leaving PowerPoint.

According to its official website, kick off your presentation with a YouTube video. Then ask the audience a few ice breaker questions they can answer from their mobile phones. Throw in a live Twitter feed to keep them on their toes. Finish it off with an interactive Q&A session. All of that, and more, is possible when you can insert live web content into your presentation with LiveSlides.

The process of inserting a video into a PowerPoint is installing LiveSlides, opening a presentation in Keynote, going to the YouTube website, copying the URL from your browser, pasting the URL into the LiveSlides dialog and click "Insert".

After that, a new slide with a placeholder image will appear at the end of your presentation. Drag the slide to where you'd like to display the web content. Click the Play button to view the live web content in presentation mode.
