Ardabil IAU to Launch Hospitality & Tourism Management Graduate School

The head of Ardabil Province Islamic Azad University has stated that due to the numerous numbers of hotels (more than 150) in Sarein, Ardabil IAU has decided to run an educational hotel in a form of a graduate school.

According to an ISCA report, Eshaq Rasouli emphasized on the importance of university-industry relationships and said that due to the university’s new approach which is leading to students and graduates’ employment development, many industrial products, made by Academics, will be entered the cycle of commercialization.

He continued that in line with having interaction with other industries, business cluster development project will be applied in order to advance small and medium-sized enterprises and business, “carpet, plastic and dairy industries have been implemented so far.”

Rasouli also noted that due to the favorable conditions for tourism activities in Sarein, which is famous for its many hot springs and many 150 hotels, it has been decided to run a graduate school in the field of Hospitality and Tourism Management in this university.”

As he said, running such schools will be considered as the great step taken toward realizing university-industry relationship. The course will offer for graduate students to work closely with faculty on funded projects.
