Tehran, Lisbon to Co-op Scientifically

Officials of Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon and Tehran University of Medical Sciences have inked a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to an ISCA report, officials of Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon and Tehran University of Medical Sciences signed MoU in order to develop academic, scientific and cultural cooperation as well as finding new areas for the exchange of knowledge and holding joint courses between two universities.

The MoU was signed with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Sharifzadeh, dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, board of pharmacists consist of representatives of the Food and Drug Administration, Syndicate of Iranian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies and dean of Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Lisbon, Dr. Matilde Fonseca e Castro.

Exchanging PhD pharmacy students and professors, carrying out joint international research projects, holding workshops, symposium and lectures, sharing research findings and developing academic collaborations are some important topics mentioned in the MoU.
