IAU, Isfahan Chamber of Commerce Ink MoU

Islamic Azad University and Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) have signed a research and cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to an ISCA report, at a signing ceremony of the research and cooperation MoU between IAU and ECCIMA, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, IAU president, hoped for the creation of new institutions along with entrepreneurs, technicians and researchers.

In this meeting, Dr. Tehranchi declared that the MoU was signed in order to create interactive relations between the university and industry which could be lead into solving society’s problems.

As he emphasized, applying science and technology can make our country more powerful against the U.S sanctions. He also added that some issues including university–industry relations, exchanging of ideas and cooperating technologically have been placed on the both sides' agenda.

The IAU president finally hoped that this MoU to provide a ground for improving relations among science, industry and commerce.
