Qom IAU, Karbala and Baghdad Universities to Ink MoU

The acting head of Qom IAU Office for Non-Iranian Students Admission has announced that the university will sign a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with universities in Karbala and Baghdad.

According to an ISCA report, Mohammad Ali Kafaei-far declared that a chamber of General Directorate of International Affairs was formed to boost enrollment numbers from international students in Qom Islamic Azad University.

He added that in line with attracting more international students, the university officially established General Directorate of Non-Iranian Students that mainly focuses on attracting and retaining international students.

Kafaei-far emphasized that due to the high academic capacities, advanced educational quality and experienced faculty members and professors, Qom IAU does effective activities in live with attracting non-Iranian students, so can compete with top universities in the country.

The acting head of Qom IAU Office for Non-Iranian Students Admission declared that holding some short (3-6 months) Persian language courses for international students is one of the university’s main program. As he noted, in line with expanding international academic relations with other countries, Qom IAU will sign a cooperation, research and academic MoU with universities in Karbala and Baghdad in near future.
