Iranian Researchers Make Hydraulic Structure to Justly Distribute Water

Researchers of Imam Khomeini International University of Qazvin have designed and made hydraulic mechanical instruments which justly distribute groundwater.

According to an ISCA report, Mohammad Bijenkhan, research project executor, stated that the project basically aims at saving water and energy.

He noted that through designing a kind of PV type pressure control valve, they could control and change water pressure so, constant volumetric flow rate of water is passing.

Bijenkhan added that the control valve can be applied in equal distribution of groundwater and various irrigation methods. As he said, lowest energy consumption in distributing water has been considered as an important factor in designing the valve.
