Oil Revenue Dependency Spoiling Higher Education like Pests

The president of Islamic Azad University, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, in an address to Tehran Dental IAU students, described that being only dependent on oil revenue could spoil higher education.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi stated the outlook which has been planned for the university, as IAU’s 1404 outlook (March 2025-March 2026) Outlook Plan, is completely real.

He added that being only dependent on oil revenue is like pests which can spoil higher education. As he declared, the factor of quality is significant in volunteers’ first choice so, “If we want to be the first choice we must consider quality and efficiency both together.”
