BNUT, UKM Ink Co-op MoU

Officials of Babol Noshirvani University of Technology and Universiti Kebongsaan Malaysia (UKM) signed cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in research, education and cultural exchanges.

According to an ISCA report, the MoU has been signed by Dr. Kurosh Sedighi, vice-chancellor of Babol Noshirvani University of Technology and his counterpart in UKM in order to apply both sides’ research, education and technological capabilities through carrying out joint projects and courses, holding workshops, conferences and scientific meetings, exchanging faculties and students and doing research activities.

UKM is one of five research universities in Malaysia with a strategic direction to be the regional leader in academic and research excellence. Key areas of focus for the university are energy related, which include earth sciences and biotechnology. Research from the university has helped propel various Malaysian industries, within engineering, architecture and food science.

Babol Noshirvani University of Technology is a public research university and institute of technology with nearly 200 faculty members and 6000 undergraduate and graduate students, that focuses on Basic Science, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials and Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
