Iran Ranks 3rd in IYPT 2019

Young physicians from Islamic Republic of Iran won bronze medal at International Young Physicists' Tournament 2019, hosted by Warsaw University of Technology from July 6 to 13.

According to an ISCA report, Iranian Young physicians won bronze medal in IYPT 2019, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland and China gained the gold while Singapore took “Physics World Cup” in this competition.

Almost 36 countries including Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, China, Korea, Brazil, Ukraine, New Zealand, Sweden, Iran, Canada, United States, Thailand, Hungary, Austria, Taiwan, Slovakia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, Australia, Poland, Croatia, Georgia, UK, Romania, Macao, Czech Republic, Mexico, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Greece, South Africa and Macedonia participated in this scientific event.

The International Young Physicists’ Tournament, IYPT, is one of the World’s foremost and most influential annual competitions in physics. The IYPT is centered around 17 research problems, and calls for team work and discussion-based ‘Physics Fights’ in which the performances of the teams are judged by experts and educators from all over the world.
