An Iranian knowledge-based company, supported by Iran National Innovation Fund, could reach the formulation of producing “Zeolite” which is required in detergent, gas and petroleum industry.

According to an ISCA report, the project's research plan executor, Ali Ghasr Hamidi explained that “Zeolite” is a kind of material which is used in detergent, gas and petroleum industry.

Zeolites, also called molecular sieves, are traditionally referred to as a family of aluminosilicate materials consisting of orderly distributed micropores in molecular dimensions. They have been widely used as highly efficient catalysts, adsorbents, and ion exchangers in petrochemical industries and in our daily life.

Ghasr Hamidi noted that domestic production of this product can lead to increase job opportunity. He also added that exporting to other countries is one of our main policies because it will bring in foreign currencies into Iran.
