Iran, China to Develop Cooperation

Senior Adviser to Iran's Leader, Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati, and China's new ambassador, Chung Hua, met and negotiated about developing cooperation between the two countries.

According to an ISCA report, during the meeting, both sides emphasized on strengthening collaborations between two countries.

Dr. Velayati wished a successful mission for the new ambassador of China and stated that "both countries enjoy much historical cooperation and among the strategic partnership between them is foreign policy independence, resistance against the US' expansionism and also opposition to the intervention of Western countries in the internal affairs of other countries."

Chung Hua also expressed his satisfaction from the meeting and declared that "Iran is one of the main countries that cooperate with China on the Silk Road Project and China hopes that the relations between the two countries will be consolidated."
