AUT Cooperating Academically with Asian and European Countries

The Director of Scientific and International Cooperation of Amirkabir University of Technology has stated that the university has been cooperating scientifically with France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Austria and Turkey.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Amir Golroo explained that there are five AUT international campuses in Tehran, Garmsār, Bandar Mahshahr, Bandar Abbas and Kish Island where special courses are being taught in each branch.

He explained that the university has a good relationship with Afghanistan in the field of mining; also due to its strong relationship with industries, it develops its strategies in accordance with the country’s needs.

Dr. Golroo noted that almost 81 MoUs have been signed so far with Asian and European universities, “we emphasize on implementing joint projects,” added that Amirkabir University of Technology cooperates academically and scientifically with France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Austria and Turkey as well.

Amirkabir University of Technology is one of the oldest higher education technical and engineering institutes in Iran. With more than 35000 graduates since 1977, AUT has been offering continuous brilliance and contributed to the achievement of many educational and research goals.

Some of the areas Amirkabir specializes in are robotics, advanced textile materials and technology research, energy research, transportation, renewable energy, optics, nanotechnology and environment research. Regular competitions and conferences are part of academic life at the university. Alongside engineering and mathematical subjects, an MBA is also available.
