IAU to Establish Nano Lab in Al-Mustansiriya University

The head of Tehran province Islamic Azad University has announced on establishing a nano-lab in Al-Mustansiriya University in Iraq.

According to an ISCA report, an academic delegation from Al-Mustansiriya University met with Mahmoud Reza Aghamiri in Central Tehran IAU in order to expand academic cooperation.

In this meeting, Aghamiri mentioned IAU international cooperation with universities around the world in the field of exchanging faculties, students and joint academic projects and stated that the university is going to establish a nanotechnology laboratory in Mustansiriya University.

As he said, IAU has had a suitable joint collaboration with Mustansiriya University in the fields of environment, sea and transportation so far, “the university is ready to introduce experts to the Mustansiriya University in any specialized fields of study.”

Prof. Bashar M. Nema also remarked that exchanging faculties and higher education students, carrying out mutual scientific research projects, publishing articles in authentic journals of Iraq University and holding meetings, are some of the both countries’ joint collaborations.

The modern Mustansiriyah University was established in 1963 that there are 12 colleges within the university including: medicine; dentistry; law; management and economy; arts; education; science; physical education; engineering; pharmacy; political science and basic education.
