IAU Must Co-op with Muslim Countries to Reinforce Cultural Sharing: Dr. Velayati

The head of Islamic Azad University board of founders and trustees has stated that indigenous humanities must be presented in a way that people to be more familiar with them.

According to an ISCA report, in the 1st edition of Empowering Professors Program in the field of humanities and art, Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati declared that the science of humanities has not been paid enough attention so far, thus localizing issues relating to Iranians and Muslims are very significant.

He emphasized that the science of humanities has been neglected in our society, but we must cooperate and consult with other Islamic countries, “as Islamic Azad University is making an attempt to strengthen cultural sharing through running international branches in Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Azerbaijan,” he said.

Previously, Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati stated that the university must be more active in the fields of science, research and culture and must take major steps toward improving education, research, cultural and religious quality.
