Researchers of Essenlix, a transformative digital health and wellness company, have developed the smallest and fastest complete blood count device.

According to its official website, Essenlix iMOST CBC accurately measures a patient’s red blood cell, white blood cell and platelet counts in less than 60 seconds, using a single drop of blood and simple steps.

Highly accurate results validated in third party clinics, being affordable and can be used anytime and anywhere are some advantages of this product. Essenlix also has submitted a 510(k) application, which is currently under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

CBC is a vital sign of a person’s health, and hence the most common lab test. It is a blood test that is frequently used for a variety of reasons: as a measure of general health, to diagnose a medical condition based on present symptoms, and to monitor medical conditions or medical treatments.

CBC also detects a wide range of conditions including anemia, infection and leukemia, and is used in oncology monitoring. A mobile test that provides CBC results in approximately 60 seconds will have significant impact on health monitoring, diagnosis and treatment.
