Eqlid IAU Researcher Creates Audio Wristband Helping the Hearing Impaired

A faculty member form Eqli Islamic Azad University has invented an audio wristband which can assist the hearing impaired without requiring hearing aids.

According to an ISCA report, confirming by valid scientific authorities of the country, "audio wristband" has been registered as a unique invention in the world, said Jamshid Ghaffari Behlouli, the inventor, also the faculty member of Eqlid IAU.

He explained that sound waves are sent to the brain through the wrist, therefore those with hearing impaired do not need to use hearing aids anymore, "upgraded sample of this device will be unveiled soon for deaf people so they won't need cochlear implant."

As Ghaffari said, he is working on his new invention which would be able to send light to the brain through the forehead in order to help the blind.
