Iran to Run Nanotechnology Center in Indonesia

Head of Iran's Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC) has announced that a Nanotechnology Center will be opened soon in Indonesia.

According to the Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology report, in his meeting with the health minister of Indonesia, Saeed Sarkar stated that establishing Nanotechnology Center in Indonesia will promote both countries’ cooperation in the field of nanotechnology.

He added that various negotiations done between Iranian and Indonesian knowledge-based firms in the field of nano medicines and medical equipment, “we hope that the countries to exchange pharmaceutical products and technologies in near future.”

The Secretary of Biotechnology Development Headquarters of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology Mostafa Ghanei also spoke of Iran’s progress in producing anti-cancer drugs and biopharmaceutical medicine and declared that Iran is completely ready to transfer such drugs production technology to Indonesia.
