IAU is Ready to Co-op Academically with Iraq: Dr. Tehranchi

The president of Islamic Azad University has met and negotiated with the head of University of Basrah to develop scientific, educational and research collaborations.

According to an ISCA report, Dr. Tehranchi stated that with a million and 200 thousand students and more than 24 thousand faculty members in more than 400 cities across the country as well as international branches in Lebanon, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, IAU works as a university network.

Dr. Tehranchi emphasized that IAU is active in all scientific and educational fields and, as a private academic system; it has gained many impressive achievements so far.

During this meeting, he added that IAU is willing to develop research and scientific cooperation with its brothers in Iraq and IAU has no limitation in collaborating with universities in Iraq, “In my visit with Qusay Abdul Wahab al-Suhail, minister of Iraq Higher Education and Scientific Research, I emphasized that IAU is completely ready to cooperate with Iraq in all scientific level.”

Deputy of IAU Medical Science, Dr. Mohsen Nafar, deputy of Science, Engineering and Agriculture, Javad Olamaei, head of Tehran province IAU, Seyed Mahmoud Aghamiri, head of Qazvin IAU, Dr. Morteza Mousakhani, head of Science and Research IAU, Dr. Reza Masoudi and the head of IAU Medical Branch, Dr. Seyed Ali Abtahi also took part in this meeting.
