University of Tehran, Italy's Universities to Boost Cooperation

Italian Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Giuseppe Perrone and first Secretary of Cultural Affairs of Italy embassy in Iran have met and negotiated with the head of University of Tehran and its officials.

According to an ISCA report, in this meeting, the head of UT, Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi mentioned joint scientific areas between Iran and Italy such as history, culture and art and then introduced the university's capacities.

Giuseppe Perrone appreciated mutual cooperation between UT College of Fine Arts and Italy in holding “Contemporary Art Day” on October and hoped for the continuation of such programs.

Both sides also exchanged their ideas about various subjects including scientific and technological cooperation in the field of new sciences, Iran and Italy’s top universities cooperation and more collaboration in Erasmus+ program.

Holding joint degree courses, creating opportunity, progress and approach for moving toward globalization, exchanging ideas about issuing students’ visas, holding art and cultural exhibitions, exchanging faculties and students in the fields of Italian and Persian language and literature and developing joint scientific visits, were some other issues discussed in this meeting.
