Mashhad IAU Unveils Electric Vehicles for Carrying Patients

The Research, Technology and Innovation deputy of Islamic Azad University has unveiled an electric vehicle to help transport patients in and around hospital sites.

According to an ISCA report, Rouhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi unveiled Mashhad IAU knowledge-based product, which is eco-friendly, cost-effective, fast and safe transportation of patients in and around hospital departments and sections.

Transportation of patients is a huge effort for the hospital staff, because they often have to carry patients on stretchers, therefore, Mashhad IAU has created and electric car that can be a fast and safe transportation for patients. This electric car can also be applied in sport clubs and fields, public places and religious sites.

The research team includes Behrouz Lotfi, faculty member of Mashhad IAU, Mohsen Golshahi, Master of Science in Automotive Engineering, Malihe Izadpanah, BS in Mechanical Engineering, Nima Mirbolouki, MS in Manufacturing Engineering and Mohammad Alizadeh, MS in Management.
