Iran & Austria Could Exchange Experiences through Sustainable Eco-tourism Symposium

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Sustainable Eco-tourism Symposium has been held at the University of Science and Culture.

According to an ISCA report, Parvaneh Parchakani, advisor of the University of Science and Culture’s head, stated that almost 30 foreign guests from 18 countries including Yemen, India, Bangladesh, Senegal, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, Algeria, Syria, Pakistan, Palestine, Venus, Ivory Coast, Turkey, Fotros Travel Agency, etc, participated in the international section of Sustainable Eco-tourism Symposium.

The two-day event has been hosted by University of Science and Culture in close collaboration with the Austrian Embassy, the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), Austrian Cultural Forum, and Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.

As she said, tourism would lead to the friendship of nations and the Sustainable Eco-tourism Symposium can provid a great opportunity for both countries to exchange their information and experiences.

Vienna’s ambassador to Tehran, Stefan Scholz, said on Wednesday that Austria has launched a new partnership with Iran to promote an inclusive growth of tourism and economy, Tehran Times reported.
