Yadegar-e-Imam IAU, University of Cologne Focus on Skills-Based Education

Yadegar-e-Imam Islamic Azad University and the Cologne Laboratory for Construction Machines (KLB) of University of Cologne have signed an academic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to an ISCA report, the head of Yadegar-e-Imam IAU, Saeid Ghazi Maghrebi explained that based on the signed MoU, Yadegar-e-Imam IAU is committed to educating students based on Germany’s educational standards in the fields of agricultural machinery, road construction machinery, electricity, electronics and power, and Information Technology, therefore, German-Iranian joint degree will be issued for the graduates.

On the other hand, University of Cologne is obliged to provide a supportive environment in German factories for 6 months for those who could receive the joint educational degree. Also, it must provide job opportunities for students, who completed their course in the level of associate degree in Germany, after returning to Iran.

As Ghazi Maghrebi said, international affairs will be reformed to a powerful center through increasing international cooperation and interaction, applying human resources, developing courses, admitting international students and reaching the international level.

The Cologne Laboratory for Construction Machines (KLB) is an integral part of the course of studies for mobile work machines at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. It is involved in numerous research and industrial projects, including an examination and optimization of driving dynamics, driving safety and driving comfort in mobile work machines.
