Iranian Researchers Produce Polymer Adsorbent for Oil Pollution Removal From Water

Researchers from Mashhad IAU Incubator Center have developed polymer adsorbent for oil pollution removal from water which is derived from sulfur.

According to an ISCA report, Esmaeil KheirKhah, research and technology deputy of Mashhad IAU, explained that oil pollution removal from water has been created in Mashhad IAU Incubator Center which can be applied in cleaning the seas or oceans' oil spills.

He declared that the university is going to sign a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ports & Maritime Organization so as to sell this product to the organization.

KheirKhah noted that according to the "Azad Payash Plan", referring to an Effective Unified Research Network, Mashhad IAU is responsible for doing researches based on sulfur as well as investigating urban marginalized communities’ dilemmas.
