Tabriz IAU Researchers Create Nano-Sensor to Prevent Stroke & Myocardial Infarction

Researchers of Tabriz Islamic Azad University have developed a type of nano-sensor that prevents stroke and myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack).

According to an ISCA report, on the side line of the 7th Rab'e Rashidi Innovation and Technology Exhibition, Saeideh Ebrahimi, head of Tabriz IAU Nanotechnology Research Center, stated that the research process of the nano-sensor has been taken about a year and a half.

She explained that since stroke and heart attack symptoms occur suddenly when a blood clot blocks an artery or a blood vessel breaks, this nano-sensor can detect and show the symptoms from 1 hour to 2 days in advance.

The 7th Rab'e Rashidi of Innovation and Technology Exhibition (Rinotex) was held on November 4 to 8 in Tabriz International Exhibition.
