Sea of Mourners Gather in Kerman for Funeral of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani

Unbelievable number of people gathered in Kerman, the hometown of Iranian Martyr General Qassem Soleimani, for his funeral procession.

According to an ISCA report, millions of mourners, as the media citing the "enormous crowd," traveled to the hometown of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani for his burial on Tuesday.

Due to the incredible participation of people in this ceremony and the "enormous crowd", the burial was subsequently postponed.

General Qasem Soleimani is being laid to rest in his hometown of Kerman, with millions already estimated to have packed the streets for funeral processions.

Iranian state TV gave the casualty toll in its online report, citing Pirhossein Koulivand, the head of Iran’s emergency medical services, who said that a number of people had been injured due to dense population.

Gen. Qassim Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Elite Quds Force, was martyred in an airstrike by the US drone in Baghdad on Friday January 3.
