"Severe Revenge," Iran Launches Missiles at US Forces in Iraq at al-Asad and Erbil

Iran has fired more than a dozen rockets at two US military bases in Iraq at al-Asad and Erbil.

According to an ISCA report, the attack is a retaliation after Iran’s top commander General Qasem Soleimani was assessinated in a drone strike in Baghdad, on the orders of US President Donald Trump.

In this regard, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted that: “Iran took and concluded proportionate measures in self-defense under Article 51 of UN Charter targeting base from which cowardly armed attack against our citizens & senior officials were launched. We do not seek escalation or war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression.”

Based on the Iranian state TV, at least 80 US "terrorists" were killed in the missile attack and 15 missiles were launches and that they have 100 other US targets in sight if the US takes any retaliatory measures.
