Semnan University Researcher Could Neutralize Textile Industry Wastes

The research patent of Semnan University researchers has been registered in Iranian Intellectual Property Center due to its high efficiency in neutralizing textile industry wastes.

According to an ISCA report, the textile industry is known for its immense pollution and waste issues. The textile processing includes various stages involving the use of numerous chemicals so produces wastes in the form of wastewater effluent.

In this regard, Mehdi Mousavi-Kamazani, faculty member of Semnan University of Science and Technology Campus and his colleagues could develop nanostructures such as Cu0.05Ce0.95O2 as a photocatalysis which can neutralize textile industry wastes.

Their research plan has been registered in Iranian Intellectual Property Center as environmentally friendly patent as well as superb absorption efficiency.
