Iranian Inventors Shine at IPTEX 2020 in Thailand

Iranian inventors have succeeded to win colorful medals at the Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEX) 2020.

According to an ISCA report, from 2 to 6 February 2020, Bangkok welcomed 1000 inventors and 20000 visitors to IPITEX 2020, a platform for young inventors to showcase their untapped potential as well as gain in-depth experience and exposure.

Almost two thousand inventors from various countries such as U.S, Germany, Britain, France, Croatia, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, South Korea, Japan and etc, competed in this event.

Iranian students, shahriar shariati and Adel Ahmadi Fariman won silver medals in the field of medicine and medical engineering; also Fatemeh Ebrahimimofrad has been awarded gold medal in this competition.

Amir-Abbas Mohammadi-Koushki, Majid Nouri, Faezeh Kargari, Zahra Qazavi, Ghazal Sohrabi, Negar Attaei and Ariana Nouri could win gold medal in the fields of medical equipment, information technology and electronics; Zahra Naderi, Meysm Pouryousefian and Ali Nouri won silver medal in this group.

As one of the Iranian presented invention in IPITEX 2020, it can be exampled “Traffic Control Gloves” which is equipped with LCD and the ability of traffic control. “Smart Hospital System with Smart Beds” was another invention of Iran’s team presented in the event.

Every year, on February 2, Thailand celebrates “inventors’ day” with particular emphasis. On the occasion of this celebration, an international pavilion is even opened in the capital Bangkok to allow inventors to present their most innovative prototypes and projects. This is the Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEX).
