According to an ISCA report, Assistant Prof. of Bioinformatics in Sharif University of Technology who led the project explained that using applications can help people understand if they have been in ‘close contact’ with people exposed to the fast-spreading coronavirus.

He noted that "Mask" has been developed based on the methods tested in China and South Korea. As he said, in line with helping stop the spread, the application provides basic and essential information at the first step.

This app also can show map of patients in different localities and help users navigate the coronavirus outbreak as well as showing where coronavirus patients are located.
