A group of graduates from Sharif University of Technology, University of Tehran and Amirkabir University of Technology have designed and created Iran-made medical equipment since 2014, based on the world's latest technology.

According to an ISCA report, the company, "OxygenPlus", is making home oxygen concentrators for covid-19 patients that can be used to assist breathing for convalescence of the patients.

This inexpensive device, which is wholly created domestically, can produce 5 liters per minute of oxygen and helps the patient in inhaling.

A ventilator takes over the body's breathing process when disease has caused the lungs to fail. This gives the patient time to fight off the infection and recover.
