IAU, Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology Ink MoU

Islamic Azad University and Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology have signed a cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a technology university in Pardis Technology Park.

According to an ISCA report, on the sideline of the inauguration ceremony of House Innovation and Development of Regional Industries, IAU president Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi and Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari signed an agreement in order to run a technology university in Pardis Technology Park.

In this ceremony, Dr. Tehranchi declared that a new training venue is needed to change the Islamic Azad University to a 'problem- Solving' university.

As he noted, IAU students would be evaluated with the 'efficiency index' to be graduated.

In this regard, the head of Pardis Technology Park Mahdi Saffarinia said that the relationship between industry and university is our government’s main concerns

He added that the technology university would focus on graduate students - undergraduate and Ph.D. studies.

"Proper facilities like job opportunities in companies of Pardis Park are considered for them, and the university and Pardis Technology Park will be considered as one united place," Mahdi Saffarinia noted.
