Online Education for Int’l Students’ Admission is On the Agenda

Iran deputy minister of Science, Research and Technology has stated that due to the impact of COVID-19 on higher education and students, the plan of “international students’ admission through online education” is on the agenda.

According to an ISCA report, Mojtaba Sedighi declared that Ministry of Science, Research and Technology owns three main strategies in admitting foreign and international students in the country's universities, but due to the pandemic, new methods will be applied to achieve this goal, FNA quoted him as saying.

He explained that the first strategy is in-Person training while the second one would be the combination of in-Person training and online system, “our third strategy is online education for non-Iranian students,” he added.

As he noted, online education for international students’ admission in Iran is on the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology agenda.
