IAU Interacting with Int'l Scientific Circles

Islamic Azad University deputy of International Affairs and Non-Iranian Students has stated that the university's policy is to interact with those international scientific circles and countries which Iran recognize them as legitimate states.


According to an ISCA report, speaking of more usage of cyberspace as scientific settings as well as for scientific and educational communication, Alaeddin Boroujerdi declared that almost 18 thousand international students are studying in Islamic Azad University.

He noted that one consequence of coronavirus was universities had a head start on transitioning to online education and adapting to online learning, in this regard, IAU owns suitable infrastructure and "our faculties switch to online courses due to coronavirus."

As Boroujerdi declared, the pressure of sanctions has had some effect on countries' scientific relations but our universities have turned sanctions into opportunities and since their activities are not political, the pressures will be the least effective.
